Bill Alverson
Bill has been engaged in the practice of law since 1986. His practice has a strong foundation in civil litigation representing clients in a variety of actions including products liability, insurance defense and personal injury. This strong background has provided him keen litigation skills that are very advantageous in representing domestic clients in all family matters and criminal defense. He is one of 4 certified guardian ad litems in Covington County and works steadily in all courts on those matters. A father of 3, he is very aware of issues involving all domestic issue and he is also the only Covington County attorney active in the family law section of the American Bar Association. In 2016, Bill was admitted to the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
William Alverson
After earning a degree in Agricultural Business & Economics from Auburn University in 2010, William graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 2013. William currently resides in Andalusia with his wife, Helen Anne and their two sons. Prior to practicing law, William founded Alverson Agency LLC and was a FIBA licensed sports agent in Alabama, New York and several other states. He negotiated contracts in five countries. Although he no longer works in sports, William continues to use these skills in negotiations.
William currently serves as municipal judge for the City of Andalusia. He has represented municipalities and obtained favorable outcomes in civil defense. William also handles criminal defense, D.U.I., family law, probate matters, and collections. William has secured positive outcomes for his clients in multiple jury trials.
